Kers WingHouse launches franchise program

Posted on: 09/06/2008 Kers WingHouse Bar & Grill is a sports-themed wing and casual dining restaurant chain based in Florida. The company currently operates 19 locations in Florida and Texas and is launching a national franchise program in order to expand the business. The restaurant chain plans to add six franchises by the end of 2008 and 48 by 2011, with the company's long-term goal being to expand the brand across the USA to over 250 units. WingHouse will initially focus its franchise efforts in the southeastern USA, mainly in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. Crawford Ker, CEO and founder of Ker's WingHouse Bar & Grill, said: 'Over the last 14 years, one restaurant turned into 19 locations, and it is now our goal to leverage the company's successful formula by launching an expansion plan that will enable us to continue our growth through franchising.'
