Triarc signs franchise deals for 35 new Arbys

Triarc Companies Inc. has announced that it has signed deals for franchisees to open 35 Arbys throughout the United States. The company is the parent of Arbys Restaurant Group and has commitments with thirteen existing franchisees to develop new restaurants in California, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

These franchisees include Jeff Davis, chief executive of United States Beef Corp., Arbys largest franchise, with 252 restaurants. He will open 11 more Arbys in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Dennis Wells, operator of 24 Arbys, will also open four further restauranets in Texas and while Joe Don Pulliam, who currently operates 15 restaurants will open three more in Louisiana.

The company operates 3,700 restaurants worldwide and is owner and operator of more than 1,100 of those restaurants in the USA.
