Choice hotel chain to franchise across Europe

Posted on: 07/10/2008 Choice Hotel International, a US based hotel chain franchise, has signed a Master Franchise agreement for Germany, Russia and the UK as part of its current expansion plans. Kasterlee Ltd, Choice Hotel International's current franchisee for Ireland, has gained the rights to license and develop Choice Hotels' Clarion brand in these countries and intends to open at least 16 hotels over the next eight years. Mark Pearce, Vice President of Choice Hotels International, said: "We are committed to expanding the Clarion brand throughout Europe, and this agreement will help drive the brand's growth in three major markets."
